Overview

From Coast to Mountains

The French Riviera is one of the world's most sought-after cycling destinations, thanks to its mild climate, diverse terrain, and exceptional natural beauty. Professional cyclists train here year-round, and the Tour de France regularly passes through the region - yet the Riviera also offers countless routes that are accessible to leisure riders and beginners.

I have been cycling these roads for many years and have carefully selected the quietest, safest, and most scenic routes. I invite you to join me for a cycling experience tailored entirely to your level and expectations - whether you prefer a relaxed ride or a more challenging adventure.

Riding a road bike or an electric bike allows you to experience the region in a unique and intimate way. Along the way, you may stop to pick ripe figs hanging by the roadside, breathe in the aromas of wild rosemary and thyme, or simply admire the Mediterranean stretching endlessly below you. With all logistics and equipment taken care of, you can relax and enjoy the ride, knowing you are in expert hands.

Your Cycling Itinerary - Departure from Nice. Each itinerary is carefully designed according to your wishes, physical condition, and cycling experience. I always favor roads I know well, away from heavy traffic and urban congestion, often leading into the hills where the scenery becomes even more spectacular. The level of difficulty is always adapted to you, with frequent breaks whenever needed.

Many rides combine coastal and mountain roads, revealing medieval villages, dramatic peaks, historic forts, rivers, and panoramic viewpoints. For those seeking a deeper experience, I can also design multi-day cycling itineraries, starting in Nice and finishing in Provence, or remaining in the region to conquer some of the most iconic Alpine passes.

Whether your cycling adventure lasts a few hours or several days, I take care of all logistics, route planning, and equipment, allowing you to focus entirely on the pleasure of riding and discovering the French Riviera at your own pace.

Good to know

Questions guests ask before booking

Where do we start, and at what time?

We pick you up at your hotel, villa or the cruise terminal. Departure is usually between 8:30 and 9:30 - earlier to beat the crowds, later if you are on holiday and it is holiday time.

How is lunch handled?

We book the table, you choose the register: a gastronomic restaurant, a Provençal bistro, or a farm table. Lunch is not included in the tour price so that you keep the choice. Dietary requirements are never a problem - tell us in advance.

What language will the tour be in?

English or French by default. Spanish, Arabic and Berber are also possible - Fouad speaks all five.

Can we combine this with another tour over two days?

Often the best plan. The second day is quoted at a reduced rate.

What happens if the weather turns?

The day shifts without losing its character. We only cancel for genuinely unsafe mountain or sea conditions, and then we reschedule or refund.

How and when do we pay?

You receive a written proposal with a firm price for your group. No deposit is required to hold a date more than a week out. Payment on the day, by card or in cash.

Fouad took us to beautiful out-of-the-way vineyards, and lunch afterwards in Saint-Tropez. He went above and beyond, helping us ship wine back home.Marcus Loy
