Day 3By train to Tangier
After a quick lunch we will take the train towards Tangier. The journey offers a gradual transition into northern Morocco, where landscapes become greener and the atmosphere increasingly reflects the unique blend of Africa and the Mediterranean.
For centuries Tangier has been a crossroads of civilizations, shaped by Phoenician, Roman, Arab, Portuguese and European influences. This rich and layered history has given the city its cosmopolitan identity, where cultures, languages and traditions naturally intertwine.
Over the 20th century Tangier also became an international zone, attracting writers, artists, diplomats and adventurers from around the world, all drawn by its mysterious and inspiring atmosphere.
Upon arrival we check into a charming riad located in the heart of the medina, offering easy access to the lively streets, artisan shops and traditional cafés where daily life unfolds.

During your stay you will also have the opportunity to visit the American Legation Museum, the first American public property outside the United States and a unique symbol of historical diplomatic ties. You may also explore the Kasbah district, with its panoramic views and authentic atmosphere.
You will also discover the old Jewish cemetery, considered one of the oldest in North Africa, a quiet and reflective place that bears witness to the city's long-standing multicultural heritage.
We will also visit Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean in a dramatic natural setting, offering spectacular coastal views and a strong sense of mythology and history.
Overnight: Second night in the Tangier medina

Days 5-6Tetouan and Chefchaouen
We depart in the morning towards the Rif Mountains, following a scenic route that reveals the changing landscapes of northern Morocco, from coastal plains to green hills and mountain valleys.
Our first stop is in Tetouan, a city deeply influenced by Andalusian heritage, often called the "White Dove" of Morocco due to its bright white façades and refined architecture. Tetouan has a rich history shaped by Andalusian refugees who arrived after the Reconquista in Spain, bringing with them their craftsmanship, urban culture and artistic traditions, which are still visible today in the old medina, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After this cultural immersion we continue our journey towards the blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains. Founded in the 15th century, Chefchaouen has long been a refuge for diverse communities, including Andalusian exiles and Jewish families, which contributed to its unique cultural identity and peaceful atmosphere.
Upon arrival we check into a charming riad in the medina, where traditional architecture, blue-washed walls and mountain views create a serene and timeless setting.
Overnight: Two nights in a charming riad in the Chefchaouen medina

Day 7Fes - capital of culture and gastronomy
Founded in the 8th century, Fes is considered the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. For centuries it was a centre of learning, trade and craftsmanship, shaped by Arab, Berber, Andalusian and Jewish influences.
Its UNESCO-listed medina is one of the largest pedestrian old towns in the world, a fascinating maze of narrow streets, colourful souks, historic monuments and traditional artisan workshops.
Fes is also renowned for having some of Morocco's finest cuisine, with specialities such as pastilla, tagines, and dishes flavoured with delicate spices, almonds and dried fruits.
A visit to Fes offers an authentic journey into Morocco's history, culture and culinary traditions. We check into our charming riad and rest.
Overnight: Charming riad in Fes

Day 8Fes - medina, tanneries and a cooking class
Today we will explore the fascinating UNESCO-listed medina of Fes. Wander through its vibrant souks, discover hidden alleyways, and meet local artisans practising centuries-old crafts, from pottery and metalwork to intricate wood carving.
Visit the famous Chouara Tanneries, admire the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa, and explore historic landmarks that reflect the city's rich cultural heritage. Along the way, enjoy countless unexpected discoveries that make Fes so unique.
Take part in a traditional Moroccan cooking class and learn the secrets behind some of the country's most celebrated dishes.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a spectacular sunset from a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the ancient medina and its sea of minarets.
Overnight: Second night in Fes

Day 9Meknes, wine country & on to Casablanca
Discover the rich history of Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities and the former capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Explore its impressive monuments, grand gates and historic squares that showcase the city's glorious past.
Visit some of Meknes' most iconic landmarks, including the majestic Bab Mansour gate, the Royal Granaries (Heri es-Souani), the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the charming old medina.
The region is also renowned for its vineyards and is considered the heart of Morocco's wine country. Enjoy a wine tasting experience featuring selected local wines while learning about the history and revival of Moroccan winemaking traditions.
A perfect blend of history, culture and gastronomy awaits in Meknes. We then drive to Casablanca for the night.
Overnight: Casablanca

Day 10Casablanca - Art Deco, Habous and the Hassan II Mosque
Casablanca is Morocco's largest city and its main economic hub. It developed significantly under the French Protectorate in the early 20th century, which strongly influenced its urban planning and architecture. This legacy is visible in its wide boulevards and elegant Art Deco buildings in the city centre.
One of the most emblematic areas is the Habous Quarter, or "New Medina", which we will visit. Built in the 1920s under French administration, it was designed to preserve Moroccan cultural identity while introducing a more structured urban layout. It is known for its peaceful alleys, arcaded streets, artisan shops, traditional bookshops and pastry stores.
The visit also includes the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, partially built over the Atlantic Ocean and an iconic symbol of modern Morocco.
Casablanca thus blends colonial heritage, contemporary energy and Moroccan traditions, offering a contrasting and fascinating final stop of the journey.

Our groups typically consist of 6 to 10 travellers, providing the ideal balance between social interaction, flexibility and individual attention.
Accommodation
All accommodations will be in carefully selected riads and hotels, chosen for their beauty, comfort and authentic charm, including a luxurious desert camp experience - each tent equipped with a private bathroom and shower.
Alcohol consumption
Morocco is a Muslim country, so alcohol is not always available. Most restaurants we go to will have wine and beer, especially in the big cities: Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Essaouira, and the Taroudant hotels. I will provide alcohol at the desert camp.
You may also certainly purchase your own alcohol to consume with dinners or aperitifs.

Spring and autumn are excellent times to visit Morocco. The weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures averaging around 25 °C. In the mornings and evenings it can be cooler, around 18 °C.
We plan to include plenty of outdoor walks, so we recommend wearing light, breathable clothing, as well as protecting yourself from the sun with a hat and sunscreen. It is also advisable to bring layered clothing and a light raincoat in case of occasional showers.
